A conceptual typeface exploring how the appearance of a solar eclipse — just before the moon covers the sun — can inform letterforms. Intersecting duplicate outlines create character shapes that look almost like a stencil, with ambiguous three-dimensional volumes. Eight weights with scores of stylistic alternates.
