Saggi
Saggi is a classical serif typeface designed by Géza Sipos and Nóra Békés, based on 'Saggi di naturali esperienze' (Essays of natural experiments, Florence 1691). The typeface is described as serious and lively while retaining the understated quirks of metal type, carefully geared for complex texts with broad language support and comprehensive OpenType features. Relatively compact without abandoning classical proportions, Saggi combines contemporary design sensibility with baroque and historical typography, described as unintentionally beautiful.
