Motley is a sans serif typeface that sits between humanist expression and geometric precision, blending hints of the written word and vertical terminals with nearly circular bowls and pronounced diagonals. Originally conceived as a revival of Stephenson Blake's Granby, it draws on early 20th century humanist sans traditions while departing from its predecessors to establish its own voice.
