Apparat (Kimera)

Apparat is a sans-serif typeface that draws inspiration from typefaces of the early 1970s optimized for television broadcasting. The counters have much stronger curve tension than the outer shapes, and junctions are opened up by large ink traps. This creates a very high legibility on both screen and paper. The typeface is available in seven weights ranging from light to black, with OpenType features including various numeral alternatives, framed numbers reminiscent of early digital clocks, and special symbols for time-related matters.
