Inspired by local newspapers and their small-town headlines about pie-eating contests, high school sports heroes, and local politics, Herald News is a text face with a serious yet friendly tone. Designed for readability at small sizes and to convey personality at larger sizes, it has seven weights to accommodate the variety of information that a newspaper needs to present daily.
