JKHandwriting
Latin typeface for elementary-school English, adopted for the MEXT textbook Handwriting We Can! (2018). Co-developed with Tokyo Shoseki with advice from Kayoko Murakami (AUDELL, Konan Women's University). Rounded-gothic elements follow the writing tool; a and o lean slightly right, and the strokes of K and R are joined to help low-vision children. Five upright weights, an italic, a four-line version and a dashed tracing version. Released 2019.
