Zucker
Zucker is at the threshold of type. It is an artifact of neo-classicism (around the time of enlightenment) with its beautiful types like Bodoni, Walbaum and Didot. The fineness of copperplate engraving is now followed up by digital accurateness. Similarly the technique of reproduction could not keep up with the letters and all connections are dissolved. The leftover is a visual experiment, the reader completes the type.
