Ht Abassi
Abassi is a modern Arabic headline face. Originally developed as a simplified face, its design recalls Arabic calligraphy of the 9th–10th century, usually written with ink and gold on parchment. Strong treatment of some letters gives the traditional style a modern feel and greater legibility, while the contrast between tall vertical strokes and horizontal strokes lends a monumental look suited to titling. Developed into an advanced OpenType typeface with many alternate forms.
