FZ KaiTi

FounderType's standard kai typeface, descended from the "Huawen Kaiti" drawn for metal type at the Shanghai Printing Technology Research Institute in the 1940s. Graceful, evenly proportioned and round-stroked, it is the everyday kai of Chinese newspapers, magazines and textbooks. Released 1996; Simplified, GBK and Big5 versions.
