Maxisud
Maxisud is a narrow, geometrical sans serif that acts as a reinterpretation of the Futura Maxi typeface found in Photo-Lettering’s One Line Manual of Styles. It comes in two styles: a Normal one, and another version bearing inktraps, using these technical features as the visual treats they are. Maxisud has a higher x-height than Futura, and shares similarities with Avant-Garde Gothic Condensed and the classic poster cut Futura Condensed ExtraBold. Its semi-condensed and round letterforms are reminiscent of several iconic visuals: from the campaigns of famous sport brands, to the wit of the Guerrilla Girls, and the dreamy titles of David Lynch’s TV series Twin Peaks.
