From the foundry
A modular typeface built from a basic set of shapes, designed through a playful and experimental process. The letters are deconstructed into modules and recombined, producing multiple possibilities for each character; curves, line values, proportions, and spacing emerge from the quirks of each letter. The approach draws on H. F. Henderson's "Understanding Molecular Typography". Named to spotlight Rosalind Franklin, whose research was fundamental to the discoveries around DNA and RNA.
