A re-interpretation of Albertus (Berthold Wolpe, 1932–1940) through a contemporary and fresh approach. Began as an attempt to design something like Albertus from memory, deliberately departing from its most characteristic letters. Features an independently drawn italic with swash capitals inspired by Wolpe's work, different treatment of contrast and proportions. Six weights with matching italics.
