Neuf

Neuf is a revival of Gravure Taille Douce, a French sans-serif grotesque from the late 1920s that appeared in the general catalog of the Fonderie Typographique Française, a consortium of French foundries whose designer remains unknown. The revival closely matches the bold version's weight, proportions and curve dynamics, resulting in a French Antique-style sans with distinctive numbers, symbols and punctuation; a new weight and italics based on the original designs are in the works.
