Siro

Siro is a sans-serif type family designed by Ryoichi Tsunekawa, optimized for text with a focus on clarity and usability. The family includes 7 weights from ExtraLight to Heavy, each with matching italics, providing flexibility for both print and digital applications. Built on a simple, clean letterform skeleton, Siro was designed to convey a neutral, natural impression. Its very large x-height enhances legibility and readability, especially on small screens and in compact layouts. Siro supports a wide range of European languages, including Western, Central, and South Eastern European languages, as well as Afrikaans. It also features a robust set of OpenType features, including proportional figures, superior/inferior figures, denominators, numerators, fractions, ordinals, and case-sensitive forms, making it highly functional for complex typography.
