Dr Slab brings this technique into the digital age, using layerable font styles to build compelling 3D effects. To use it effectively, work with Photoshop, Illustrator, or any graphic design app that supports layers—treating each font style as if it were a printing plate. You can assign different colors to each layer, just like traditional multi-pass printing. The “Base” style is the foundation of the system. You can enhance it using additional styles like Rim, Shadow, and Ext to create rich dimensional effects.
