DT Straits Sans
A nine-weight geometric sans-serif typeface that revives an Art Deco-style typeface used in the 1930s to print one of Singapore's first local publications, the Straits Times Annual. The design pays homage to Singapore's typographic history through geometric art-deco construction with humanistic endings that give the geometric shapes nuanced form. Condensed capitals reference original source material while missing lowercase characters were reimagined with standard width.
