Roslindale Cyrillic
Roslindale gets its attitude from the reverberation of sharp, pointy serifs against bulbous, round shapes. Serbia-based type designer Jovana Jocić takes that interplay further in her interpretation for the Cyrillic script, from the spikes on the bottom of Д to the curled ball terminals of й. Roslindale builds on the model of De Vinne, a quirky oldstyle from 1892, but its tight spacing and slick curves lean towards 1970s interpretations of the style. The expansion comes in upright and italic styles with Bulgarian and Serbian alternates, in Text and Display Condensed styles.
