ECWC Standard

A digital revival of an all-caps monospaced typeface developed in 1975 by Videon Cablesystems in collaboration with Environment Canada. Used for the first cable TV weather channel in Winnipeg, Canada. Features gummy, amorphous interior shapes with harder-edged, octagonal exterior rendered as horizontal bands to evoke CRT scanlines.
