Agena Display

Agena Display is a typeface family seeking to bridge the gap between the expressive humanist sans-serifs of the 1960s and the formulaic geometric superfamilies of today. The family is intentionally imperfect, staying true to its humanist inspirations while remaining clean, predictable, and surprising. Agena Display exaggerates the usual optical corrections seen in sans-serif typefaces while maintaining relatively low contrast between the stems. Named after the Agena target vehicles used in the Gemini space program.
