Timáukel

Timáukel is a Dutch-inspired serif typeface designed by Raúl Israel of Compañía Tipográfica de Chile. The typeface features calligraphic-inspired shapes and curved stems with more curved lines than its historical references. The name comes from the Selk'nam People, who lived in Tierra del Fuego in the south of the world. Their divinity is called Temáukel or Timáukel, which is also the name of a place on the same island. Available in two styles—Regular and Italic—with plenty of swashy alternates and stylistic sets like small capitals. The typeface blends historical typography with contemporary design sensibilities, making it suitable for editorial and display use.
