Styrene
A geometric sans serif designed by Berton Hasebe, Styrene takes its initial inspiration from Breede Schreeflooze, a charmingly awkward sans serif shown in a 1932 type specimen published by the Enschede Typefoundry. Named for the purposefully synthetic treatment of its curves and geometry, Styrene is characterized by hyperextended narrow characters like f, j, r, and t, adding distinctive gaps to wordshapes in unexpected places. Available in two versions, Styrene A and B, with the latter featuring more condensed proportions.
