Lyon
A contemporary interpretation of Robert Granjon's influential 16th-century serif typefaces, Lyon was originally designed by Kai Bernau in 2006 as his degree project for the Type and Media MA program at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague. Retaining a decisively digital outline treatment that reveals the modern repertoire of tools, Lyon pairs a Times-like unobtrusiveness in text sizes with its Renaissance heritage, making it an elegant book and publication typeface.
