Darby Serif
The companion serif to Darby Sans, Darby Serif was designed by Paul Barnes with Dan Milne, first appearing in 2017 as the text face in Francesco Franchi and Angelo Rinaldi's redesign of La Repubblica in Rome. Based on the same skeleton as Darby Sans, it comes in two related families, Display and Text, with roots in British lettering and typefaces of the 18th century, suited to news in both digital and print formats.
