Caslon Doric
Designed by Paul Barnes and Tim Ripper over nearly a decade (2008-2017), Caslon Doric follows the fitful progress of the sans serif in the second half of the 19th century. Modeled primarily on Caslon Doric No. 4 published in 1876, the collection gives a 19th-century British sans serif the rigour, consistency, and rationality of a modern family with multiple weights and widths, while retaining the charm of the originals. Released through Commercial Classics in 2019, it comprises five families totaling 78 styles.
