Brunel
Begun by Paul Barnes in the mid-1990s soon after he returned to the UK from New York, Brunel was inspired by walking through London's Georgian streets and thinking about the influence of history on letterforms. A design that Barnes worked on for over two decades, it was first released in six weights through the St Bride Type Foundry around 2011, then expanded to five families and released through Commercial Classics in 2019.
