Raceway
Raceway is a display typeface published by CabargaType in 1993, designed by Leslie Cabarga. It is one of 9 typefaces from CabargaType in the Type.lol catalog.
From the foundry
Raceway descends from three-dimensional jig-sawn plywood letters, automatically spaced and aligned on a slotted board by the connecting stroke. The typeface combines even strokes and curves with ever-present horizontal strokes to create a brilliant Art Deco letterform, reflecting mid-20th century design aesthetics.
