Spoorweg

Spoorweg is a display typeface inspired by the geometric lettering on the façade of the former Reisbureau der Staatsspoorwegen building in Amsterdam, designed by K. P. C. de Bazel and completed in 1912. Ramiro Espinoza studied the proportions and structural logic of the original inscription and translated them into a refined, regularized digital typeface with an expanded character set. It is well suited for signage, editorial design, posters, branding, museum exhibitions, websites, and cultural projects.
