Sassenheim
Sassenheim is a modular display typeface inspired by an experimental, expressionist alphabet found on ceramic lettering plates attached to bridges in the Sassenheim area of the Netherlands. Ramiro Espinoza studied the proportions, modular structure, and distinctive shapes of the original ceramic letters and translated them into a contemporary digital typeface, refining construction and expanding the character set while preserving the source's expressive qualities.
