Piet [Brutal Types]
Piet is a display typeface by Ramiro Espinoza for Brutal Types, based on an alphabet model drawn by Dutch artist Piet Zwart (1885-1977) and used in several of his graphic designs. Released August 2025 as part of Brutal Types' first batch, the typeface revives Europe's forgotten interwar-period letterforms discovered through extensive fieldwork capturing typography on building facades, tombstones, and vintage book covers.
