Hofje
Hofje is a display typeface inspired by the lettering above the entrance of the Rijpenhofje in Amsterdam, a restrained Jugendstil sans serif inscription designed by architect A. Salm and built between 1912 and 1913. The designer studied the proportions, stroke modulation, and distinctive details of the original inscription, translating them into a contemporary digital typeface with an expanded character set.
