BC Sijan

BC Šijan is the third in a series of Petr Babák's experimental font creations, developed as part of an exploration into the limits of the Latin typeface and typeface legibility in the early 1990s. The font has a unique origin: character shapes were drawn by pencil on a piece of cloth and embroidered into the cloth by a professional seamstress using a Minerva brand sewing machine. The result is a distinctive display typeface with an unconventional character.
