Schmetterling
Schmetterling is a display typeface built from a blend of two German type traditions from different eras. Its decorative half draws on blackletter forms, mainly textura but also rotunda and fraktur, while its legible half is modeled on DIN grotesques used for railways, signage, and house numbering. It carries many stylistic sets for both cases, letting designers vary its rhythm between sharp and soft, angular and fluid.
