An original interpretation of Kumlien Gothic, the iconic Swedish serif typeface designed by Akke Kumlien in 1943. Rather than a direct revival, Akke is a contemporary reinterpretation that honors the beautifully crafted calligraphic quality of the original while optimizing it for modern variable typography. The family features four distinct optical sizes—Micro, Text, Display, and Poster—each with three variable x-heights, enabling precise typographic control across different scales from captions to headlines.
