Basati Rounded
Basati Rounded is a rounded interpretation of the original Basati display typeface, maintaining the wild, bold character of the original design while softening its edges. Basati draws inspiration from audacious interlacing and space-saving tricks used in inscriptions found in the Basque Country from the 17th century onwards. Designed for headlines and hard-hitting messages, with deliberately wild temperament and heavy, provocative strokes that seem to defy logic and gravity. Each character is precision-crafted as sharp as a scalpel, with complex interlocking groups and numerous contextual alternates. Available in 5 weights with 847 glyphs supporting 300+ languages. A variable font option (Basati Variable) is also available.
