Catalog
Imitation is more than a copy of the preceding original. And if simulation is a successful form of imitation, then the font Catalog is a tribute to classic serif typefaces. In a basic manner, it draws on the simple principles, the graphic style of display typography, and the imitation effect of a text face. It brings together the technique of humanistic Antiqua with the graphic approach of a simplified constructed style of serif typefaces, essentially following classicism fonts in its functionality. To avoid creating a messy impression in cataloguing and performance in metric order, the font family was expanded. The latest addition to the Catalog, a non-proportional 'mono' font with three different metric widths, brings the imitation of a typewriter font into a precarious balance.
