Courier Sans

Originally designed in 1994 as a critique of a 'Courier Only' typography exercise, Courier Sans takes the generic Macintosh system typeface (which nods to the seminal 1950s IBM typewriter font) and strips off its serifs. The result reads as both pleasantly anonymous and stylish; later development added true italics and a genuine monospace cut, alongside a fully proportional companion called LL Courier Sans.
