Rhetorik Serif

Rhetorik Serif is a versatile humanist serif typeface that challenges the definition of a type family by combining both sans and serif styles in a manner unlike its predecessors. The design references Walter Tiemann's Orpheus (1926) and Otl Aicher's Rotis (1988), with its structure based on a calligraphic model by Giovanni Francesco Cresci from the 16th century. Rhetorik creates something new through meticulous editing and synthesizing of historical points, yielding a functional type system while maintaining the concept of marrying a sans and a serif.
