China
China is a typeface project based on Authors Bold, originally designed by Sidney Gaunt for Barnhart Brothers & Spindler in 1902. This typeface, though historical, brings something new to the familiar Century Schoolbook-style genre we all know. With its distinctive half-circle serifs, it revives a forgotten warmth and energy. While many contemporary digital typefaces in this category remain solid but often dull, China reintroduces a long-lost personality.
