AL Linea
Precise revival resulting from a synthesis of various large sizes of Linea, a grotesk designed by Umberto Fenocchio, developed and launched between 1966 and 1969 for the Fonderia Tipografica Cooperativa (FTC) of which he had become the artistic director. Nera and Neretta are ready and the rest of the original family from very light to very bold as well as condensed is under development. It seems that this is one of the first works of synthesis between the forms of Univers and Neue Haas Grotesk published around 1957, well before Unica then. The bold version (nera) exudes the boxy aspect of Univers through the round letters.
