From the foundry
Ultra Bold Gothic originates from the display sans-serif master drawings created by Hangeul designer Choi Jung-ho, characterized by stems so thick they fully occupy the em-square. AG Ultra Bold Gothic is a digital typeface developed through meticulous analysis of these original drawings. The Hangeul design preserves the bold optical weight adjustments, the ink-trap-like 'margin band' phenomena from printing, and the delicate spatial distribution inherent in the original.
