Tony Di Spigna

Italian-American type designer and letterer known for ITC Serif Gothic, ITC Lubalin Graph, and his Spencerian lettering. Born in Forio d'Ischia, Italy, he studied at Pratt Institute and worked alongside Herb Lubalin and Tom Carnase before founding his New York studio Artissimo in 1973.
