Tobias Frere–Jones
One of the world's leading typeface designers with over 35 years of experience. Created some of the most widely used typefaces including Interstate, Poynter Oldstyle, Whitney, Gotham, Surveyor, Tungsten and Retina. BFA from RISD (1992), faculty at Yale University School of Art since 1996. Work in permanent collections of V&A London and MoMA New York. Awards include Gerrit Noordzij Prijs, AIGA Medal, and Cooper Hewitt's 2019 National Design Award for Communication Design.
