Roy Preston

Born in London, Roy Preston worked most of his life as an art director and graphic designer before becoming a prolific type designer. His Prentis won the gold prize in the 1999 Morisawa Awards International Typeface Design Competition, and his angular wedge serif family Krete is considered his masterpiece.
