Ron Carpenter

English typographer born in Dorking in 1950, trained as a cartographer before becoming a typeface designer at Monotype. Created notable faces including Calisto MT, Cantoria, and Amasis, and later joined Dalton Maag where he designed Aktiv Grotesk and other typefaces.
