Ramón Stirling

Spanish calligrapher and penmanship pioneer active in Barcelona in the 19th century. Author of 'Bellezas de Caligrafia' (1844), a landmark calligraphy book that introduced a refined version of English calligraphy to Spain. His work influenced modern script typefaces including Alejandro Paul's Bellissima Script.
