Prof. Hans R. Heitmann

Type designer, calligrapher, and professor at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, teaching typography, logo design, calligraphy, and artistic design. Born in Upper Franconia, Bavaria, he studied communication design at Augsburg and the Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart, and published his first typeface with Berthold AG in 1990. Founder and creative director of Finaltype.
