Maia Ruth Lee

Korean-born artist and educator currently based in San Francisco. Her work explores the evolving shape of language, memory, and identity within the context of migration and diaspora. Collaborated with Sharp Type on the typeface Alpes, and is known for her sculptural steel glyphs shown at the 2019 Whitney Biennial.
