Joseph Churchward

Samoan-born New Zealand graphic designer and typographer who designed an estimated 690 original typefaces. He founded Churchward International Typefaces in 1969, which became New Zealand's largest typesetting firm, and was awarded the Queen's Service Medal in 2010 for services to typography.
