Jakob Erbar
Jakob Erbar was a type designer and educator born in Düsseldorf in 1878 and died in Köln in 1935. He trained as a compositor and studied type design, later teaching at Städtische Berufsschule and Kölner Werkschule. He is known for his typeface designs including Feder-Grotesk and its variants Lumina, Lux, and Phosphor.
