Günther Gerhard Lange

German typographer, teacher, and type designer who served as art director of Berthold Type Foundry for four decades. Created nearly 100 original typefaces including Concorde, Imago, and definitive revivals of Garamond, Walbaum, and Akzidenz-Grotesk. Known as "Gutenberg's Machine Gun" for his provocative lecturing style.
